Our next meeting:
The Chicago Genealogy June Meeting
Come on out to do some research!
The time and location may seem odd - but the reason is simple, proximity to the Newberry Library. My goal is to have people bring projects to the meetup, we can have short discussion, etc. on them, then head to the Newberry for some research. Read more

-
"I started researching several years ago and got distracted by life but when I received a pedigree chart from my dad's cousin I've become obsessed. I've started researching for friends and inlaws and I would love to do this as a career someday."

"I have made several trips to the Fort Wayne, IN genealogy library (3rd largest in the US). Haven't gone to Europe, but my uncle has made many trips and found out a great deal. I've done a lot, but there is always more. "
-
"I have been doing genealogy for several years now and use Roots Magic for my database. I have sort of lost interest and I'm hoping that by joining a group, I will be re-energized to pursue this hobby. "
-
"I've been a genealogist and family historian since I was 8 years old and now trace many families related to me through my various great-great-grandpar ents. My focus is on all my cousins, not on my "pedigree"."
-
